He was predeceased by: his father D. Duane Jacobs; and his sister Donna Beier. He is survived by: his mother Charlene Jacobs of Lexington; his sons, Grant Jacobs of Sullivan, IN, Nate Jacobs of Memphis, TN and Carter Jacobs of Lexington; his parents-in-law, Jere and Virginia Payne of Lexington; his sister Karen Edwards (Kevin) of Lexington; and his siblings-in-law, Gary Beier of Normal and Kellie Duzan (Dave) of Lexington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to The Lexington Public Library, The Lexington Community Center, or the Lexington Fire & Ambulance.
