He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer Vandegraft and Vida Siron Vandegraft; his sister Ginger Whear; and his brother-in-law Denny Garrett. He is survived by: his sister Sherry Garrett; his stepdaughters, Sheri Anderson (Lloyd) and Teresa Wissmiller; his stepgrandchildren, Kari Donaldson (Travis) and Nick Anderson (Tiffany); his nieces, Paula Allen (Don), Tricia Graham and Kelli Doyle; his nephew Rick Whear; his close friend Larry Wheat; his cousin Dick Siron; and his granddaughter Kari.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lexington Community Center (207 W Main St, Lexington, IL 61753).
Memorial contributions may be left to Ruby's Rescue and Retreat, Haflinger Haven in St. Joseph, IL, or the Lexington Community Fire Protection District.
