With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William B. Taylor Jr. of Lewistown, Illinois, born in Cairo, Illinois, who passed away on March 3, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William B. and Dolly Kathleen Taylor Sr. (Hampton); and his siblings, Jackson D. Taylor, Melinda "Linda" Peterson and Elizabeth Timmons.
He is survived by: his spouse Naoma C. Winingear; his children, William Dennis Taylor (Pam Morris) of Lewistown and Billie Simmons (Jack) of Lewistown, IL; his grandchildren, Wes Simmons, Darren Simmons, Trevor Simmons, Brian Simmons and Jacquelyn Hilton; and his siblings, Charles Ernest Taylor, Peter Daniel Taylor, Robert Allen Taylor, Jeneanne Marble, Marsha Black, Madonna Griffith and Robin Gorsuch. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
