Robert E. Peters Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 20, 2023, at the age of 90, Robert E. Peters of Lewistown, Illinois, born in Oakford, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy R. Peters and Effie Evelyn Peters (Pedigo); his wife Anita Moss; his grandson Shane Brandon Neteler; and his siblings, Roy Elbert Peters and Roberta Simpson.

He is survived by: his children, Kathryn Baker (Jason) of Lewistown, Robert Dean Peters (Debbie) of Petersburg, Angela Neteler of Havana, Carol Jean Sisson of Kilbourne, Evelyn West (Bill) of Lewistown, Nancy Fields of Arlington and Melissa Thompson (Brian) of Lewistown; his great great grandchild Roy Lee Peters; and his sister Sharon Rockwell of Paragould, Arkansas.. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren, three step great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter.

Memorial donations may be made in Mr. Peters name to Lewistown United Methodist Church, Parkinsons Research Foundation, or Buckhart Fire Department.
