He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair "Bud" Lafary and Donna Paton (Mustread); and his brother Steve Lafary. He is survived by: his sons, Jacob Lafary (Chelsea), Jason Lafary and Josh Lafary; his grandchildren, Jacob Jr., Kadence, Liam, Ryker and Brianna; and his sister Deanna Whitmer. He is also survived by two nephews, one great-niece, and one great-nephew.
