He was predeceased by: his parents, John Riley and Margret Riley (Ellis); his sons, Monty and Mike Chasteen; and his sister Nancy Riley.
He is survived by: his spouse Jean Wooddell; his sons, Mark Wooddell of Lewistown and Marty Chasteen of Lewistown, IL; his grandchildren, Kaylie Chasteen, Chase, Quincy Melvin, Jordyn Rhodes, Taylor Chasteen and Trenton Chasteen; and his siblings, Bill Riley (Patty) of Wee, Greg Riley (Kathy) of Canton, Bonnie Easley of Canton and Madeline Harkless (Scott). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
