She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Courtney and Alma "Tootsie" Courtney (Lingenfelter); and her brothers, Thomas and Leslie Courtney. She is survived by: her husband Larry "Jocko" Van Middlesworth; her children, Terri L. Hicok (Bill), Jami R. Bailey (Ty), Joshua L. Van Middlesworth (Jill), Leslie M. Van Middlesworth (Preston Bainter) and Toni S. Maricle (Ryan); and her siblings, Robert Courtney (Carla), David Courtney (Pam), Virgil Courtney and Laura Clendenny. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Illinois Cancer Care or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
