With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Joseph Hicks of Lewistown, Illinois, born in Ottawa, Illinois, who passed away on July 2, 2022 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Clifton Hicks; his grandparents, Margaret Eich, Johnny and Lulamae Hicks; and his brother Terry Hicks.
He is survived by: his mother Catherine Hicks (Eich) of Ottawa; his close friend Cheryl Hall; his children, Brandi Warrner of Ottawa and Nathan Hunter of North Carolina; his stepdaughter Kristel Morris; his stepgranddaughter Shay Ramsey of Lewistown; his siblings, Steve Hicks (Julie) of Ottawa, Tim Hicks of Seneca, Mike Hicks of Ottawa, Kathy Mattes (Al) of Ottawa and Laurie Hicks (Donna) of Minnesota; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Michelle, Erica of Zach, T. J., Lacey, Stephanie, Lauren and Abby. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
