It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty J. Ramey Keene (Lewistown, Illinois), born in Clinton, Indiana, who passed away on February 7, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Mckinley and Iva Grace Graves (Cox); her former husband Donald R. Ramey; her children, Brenda Sue, James, Ted, Jon and Joe Ramey; and her sisters, Lucille Newton, Pippie Mathias and Junetta Lunsford.
She is survived by: her children, Nelson Ramey of Marietta, GA, Donna Stutsman (Jack) of Lewistown, IL, Marsha Gazelle of Canton, IL and Cindy McGehee of Westville, IL; her stepchildren, Bob Keene (Barb) of Peoria, IL, Steve Keene of Jacksonville, IL, Dick Keene (Marsha) of Macomb, IL, Nita Hughes of Liverpool, IL and Sue McCance of Cuba, IL; and her husband Bob. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, thirty three great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
