We are sad to announce that on March 24, 2021, at the age of 50, Brett Kastl of Lerna, Illinois, born in Mattoon, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Richard A. Kastl; and his brother Bart Kastl. He is survived by: his mother Virginia Kastl (Protz) of Lerna, Illinois; his siblings, Bert Kastl (Lee Ann) of Mattoon, Illinois and Beth Kastl of Charleston; his sister-in-law Donna Kastl of Charleston; his niece Reve Kastl of Charleston; his cousin Darrell Cox of Ashmore, Illinois.; his friends, Brian Halsey, Chris Clayton and Justin Peterson; and his close friend Ivy. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
