He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Droste Shaffer and Naomi Allard; and his brothers, Kelby Kirk Fries and Justin Shaffer. He is survived by: his sons, Codey Shaffer (Gabe) and Kyle Shaffer (Taylor); his siblings, Darin Fries (Catherine), Nicki Hopfinger (Curt) and Stacey Shoemaker; and his close friends, Mike and Billy. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
