He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hundelt and Agnes Hundelt (Schorer); his wife Barbara Joseph; his daughter Catherine King; and his granddaughter Angel Haney.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Hediger (Denise) of Bethalto, IL, Patricia Spier (Larry Cumberland) of Tilden, IL, Lisa Hundelt of Lenzburg, IL, Stacy Hundelt (David) of Pinckneyville, IL and Robert Hundelt of Benton, IL; his siblings, Esther Harwerth, Viola Albers and Norbert Hundelt L; and his grandchildren, Keith Spier, Kenneth Spier (Denise), Cindy Spier, Thomas King, Michael King (Mallory), Joshua Lercher (Taylor), Catherine Lercher, Melissa Lercher (Bogie), Ryan Haney and Jessica Johnson. He is also survived by 22 great grandchildren and by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Lester's honor are encouraged to be made to the Parkinson's Association or to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Freeburg, IL.
