With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David L. Schmersahl of Lenzburg, Illinois, born in Red Bud, Illinois, who passed away on July 30, 2023 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Schmersahl and Vernice Schmersahl (Lehr). He is survived by: his wife NoraJean Schmersahl (Hummert) of Belleville, IL; his children, Regina Schmersahl of Belleville, IL, Lisa Bruner (Robert) and Kelinda Schmersahl of Belleville, IL; and his grandchildren, Savannah, Angel, Riley, Robert Jr. and Ezra.
