It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Becky L. Kurtz of Lenzburg, Illinois, born in Rushville, Illinois, who passed away on January 15, 2023, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Richard Smith; her parents-in-law, Alice and Ralph Kurtz; and her sister-in-law Nancy Lynn Renth. She is survived by: her husband Richard Kurtz; her mother Linda Gayle Smith (Phelps) of Marissa, IL; her children, Joseph Kurtz (Melissa) of Chicago, IL, Zachary Kurtz (Lacey) of Lenzburg, IL, Bradley Kurtz of Fairbanks, AK, Reed, Kinzley, Nora, Kellan and Oaklee; her brothers, Timmy Smith and Matt Smith; her half-siblings, Billy Anderson, Tracy Chandler and Julie Frech; and her siblings-in-law, Mike Kurtz (Regina), Allan Kurtz (Wendy), Edmond Kurtz (Cheri), Larry Kurtz (Erica), Charlie Kurtz (Erin) and Annette Leonhardt (Jeff). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation, the American Heart Association or Mass offerings to St. Anthony Catholic Church.
