With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vivian Kepner (Lena, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 24, 2024 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sever Fieldstad and Hulda Fieldstad (Nordeen); her husband Hubert Kepner; her siblings, Leonard Fieldstad, Vernon Fieldstad, Inez Biesemeier, Helen Boynton, Robert Fieldstad and Kenneth Fieldstad; and her great grandchildren, Kyle Joseph Kepner, Madalyn Janice Deal, Ava Theresa Deal and Sydney Jane Kepner.
She is survived by: her children, Robert (Theresa) of Lena, IL, Dr. Barbara Kepner of Lena, IL, George (Rogene) of Lena, IL and Charlie (Martha) of Chicago, IL.; her great grandchildren, Valerie (Ryan) and Sadie Deal of Monroe, WI; her grandchildren, Paul (Alicia), Mackenzie, Noah, Evelyn Kepner of Lena, IL, Alison Kepner (Brandon Larson) of Baraboo, WI, David (Sara), Vivienne, Harrison Kepner of Waunakee, WI, Dr. Claire Kepner (Jordan Rainey), Olivia Kepner (Levi Davis) of Gratiot, WI, Peter Kepner (Madison Smith) of Chicago, IL., Elizabeth Kepner (Jake Hesslau) of Chicago, IL. and Katherine Kepner of Chicago, IL.; and her caregivers, Barbara Kepner, Dale, Maureen, Sherri, Mary Jo and Bill.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for the benefit of St. John's Lutheran Church, the Nora Community Church, and Highland Community College.
