It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Turner (Lena, Illinois), who passed away on August 7, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer "Pete" Helsinger and Evelyn Helsinger (Mellentine); her husband Allen Turner; her grandson Leo Gerke; and her great grandchild Timothy Jordan.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Jordan (John Blair) of Stockton, IL, David Turner (Lorraine) of Freeport, IL, Sherry Soehnlein (Jim) of Madison, WI, Peggy Korth (Dan) of Stockton, IL, Stuart Turner (Filomena) of Vacaville, CA and Michelle Christianson (Steve) of Pearl City, IL; and her sister Judy Welty (Phillip) of Monroe, WI.. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in her memory.
