He was predeceased by: his wife Cheryl; his son-in-law Richard Korte; his grandson Craig Brinkmeier; and his siblings, Lloyd Brinkmeier (Helen), Orin Brinkmeier (Lorraine), Gerald Brinkmeier (Jacquilin), Evora Kempel (Preston), Ruby Parksinson (Jay) and Midlred Bowden (Mel).
He is survived by: his great grandchild Jax; his grandfather Cheetos; his children, Linda Korte of Lena, Betty Pries of Fitchburg, WI and Dan Brinkmeier (LeeAnn) of Lena; his grandchildren, Eric Korte (Erin), Tiffanie Korte and Matthew Brinkmeier; his great grandchildren, Jaxon, Ella and Austin; his half-sister Shirley Goldsmith; and his brother Fred Asche. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
