She was predeceased by: her mother Linda Jean Mader (Smith); her son Patrick Reimers; and her grandparents, Orie and Pearl Mader. She is survived by: her father Mervin Mader of Lena; her husband John Reimers of Freeport; her sons, Branden Reimers, Shawn Reimers and Michael Reimers; her brother Mark Mader (Marie); her aunts and uncles, Debra Smith, Cheryl Smith, Jeff Smith (Cindy) and Michael Smith; and her nephew Daniel Mader.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lena United Methodist Church (118 W Mason St, Lena, IL 61048). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

A memorial has been established in her name.
