He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hughes and Blodwyn Hughes (Roberts); and his siblings, Terry Hughes of Rock Falls and Pamela Blomquist of Morrison, IL.. He is survived by: his wife Susan "Sam" Hughes of Lena; his children, Scott Hughes (Sonya) of Shalimar, FL and Sarah Eveland (Michael) of Stockton, IL; his grandsons, Mitchell Eveland of Lena, IL and Nicholas Eveland of Stockton, IL; and his siblings, Bob Hughes (Suzette) of Janesville, WI, Diana Williams of Plano, TX and Kris Mokros (Lyle) of Platteville, WI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
