It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sharon Broshous (Lena, Illinois), born in Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on June 14, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Vanderheyden and Myrtle Vanderheyden (Carpenter); her son Dennis D. Broshous; her grandson Dennis D. Broshous; and her siblings, Malcom, Duane, Kenneth, William "Bill", Roger and June Finn.

She is survived by: her husband Danny B. Broshous; her sons, Douglas A. Broshous (Cathy) of Stockton and Deryl L. Broshous (Hillary) of Stockton; and her siblings, Linda Thayer (Steve) of Freeport, Robert Vanderheyden (Jane) of Stockton and Jack Vanderheyden (Laurrel) of Stockton. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.

A memorial has been established in her memory.
