He is survived by: his parents, William Kempel and Codi Kempel (Sandell); his brother Oliver; his grandparents, Don Kempel (Kristen Keith), Dennis and Monica Sandell; his great-grandparents, Margaret Kempel, Ron and Sherri Brown; his uncles, Matthew Kempel (Emiley) and Phillip Kempel; and his aunt Hannah Sandell. He is also survived by numerous great aunts, uncles, and cousins.
