She is survived by: her husband Theodore; her children, Terry Carus (Latricia) of Lena and Laurel Leisson (Randy) of Monroe; her grandchildren, Megan Champion (Dillon), Nyiona Davis, Tyree Davis, Alex Carus, Maria Kempthorn and Keith Liesen; and her great grandchildren, Dylon, Olivia, Madilynn and Addison.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (503 W Lily Creek Rd, Freeport, IL 61032).
Ruth finished her career working as an RN in the Stephenson Nursing Home in the Alzheimer's unit.
