He is survived by: his wife Mary Miller; his children, Tim Lobdell (Brenda) of Freeport, IL, Troy Lobdell (Barb) of Darlington, WI, Tyler Lobdell of Lena, IL, Gretchen Kempel (Tom) of Shannon, IL and Abigail Bower of Lena, IL; his grandchildren, Shane Lobdell (Micki), Cassidy Lobdell, Courtney Lobdell (Noah Wolff), Austin Bower (Hayley Peacock), Casey Lobdell (Morgan), Hannah Kempel, Emma Bower (Scylor Sanzenbacher), Rebecca Kempel, Carson Lobdell (Morgan Black), Ellie Bower, Sarah Kempel and Alyssa Kempel; his great grandchild Carrie Lynn Lobdell; his stepgranddaughter Sadie Dascher (Justus); his stepgreat-grandson Zeke; his brother-in-law Bill Miller (Barbara); and his cousins, Alice Omelusik (Mike), Mary Klitzke, Neal Wagner (Kris) and Karen Otterson (Brad).
