Thiele of Lena, Illinois, born in Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on September 2, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Carl and Iola Loretta Thiele (DeWall); his wife Barbara A. Thiele (Stewart); and his siblings, June L. Thiele and Ronald E. Thiele.
He is survived by: his children, Robert F. Thiele (Kathy) of Waterloo, IA, William F. Thiele of Freeport, IL and Debra J. Altensey of Lena, IL; his sisters, Janice E. Lehmann of Freeport, IL, Jeanette S. Cox of Colorado and Shirley A. Marcum (Donald) of Freeport, IL; his sister-in-law Emma J. Thiele; and his grandchildren, Connie M. Bicksler, Stephanie A. Smith, Alisha J. Frakes, Mindi J. Thiele, Jenna M. Thiele and Traci A. Thiele. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his memory.
