It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Herman of Lena, Illinois, born in Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on December 9, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Herman and Esther Herman (Wingert); his grandson Colton Drye; his siblings, Alberta Spittler (Charles), Betty Dole (Gerald), Leah Erner (George) and Bill Herman; his brothers-in-law, Terry Raders and Tom Lance; and his father-in-law Francis Raders.

He is survived by: his wife Tana Raders; his children, Dawn Hastings (Curt Garrison) of New Lisbon, WI, Deanna Drye (Rich) of Lena, IL, Stacy Knoup (Dan) of Urbandale, IA and Lane Herman (Sonia) of Dodgeville, WI; his grandchildren, Brandon, Ryan Hastings, Dustin, Andrew Drye, Morgan, Mackenzie Knoup, Ean Herman and Breanna Busker; his mother-in-law Betty Raders of Lena; his siblings-in-law, Evelyn Herman of Lena, Sharon Schlachter (Bob) of Lena, Jill Lance of Anaheim, CA, Jeannine Raders of Lena and Mark Raders (Lora) of Belleville, WI; and his pet Abbey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and his constant companion for the last seven years.
