He was predeceased by: his parents, August Englert and Rose Englert (Exner); his siblings, Terry and Pat; and his nephew Jason.

He is survived by: his children, Heather Roepke of Appleton, WI and Kyle Englert of Lena, IL; his grandson Hunter Englert; his pet Dazy; and his sister Catherine Christensen (Terry). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial has been established in his memory.
