He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Vrstal and Joan Vrstal (Horna); his son Joseph; and his sister-in-law Janet Vrstal. He is survived by: his former wife Penelope Ford; his wife Sharon Wilson; his children, Jeff Vrstal and Marty Vrstal (Raeann); his stepchildren, Angie Mazurkiewicz (Tim) and Adam Wilson; his grandchildren, Shayna Lincoln (Scott), Lindsey Yoder (Dan), Nick Vrstal (Chivone), Daphne Booth, Tiffany Vrstal (Matt Burkehalter), Christian Mazurkiewicz (Isabelle Insko), Jadyn Mazurkiewicz, Braxton Mazurkiewicz, Mason Mazurkiewicz, Kameryn Wilson and Lillie Wilson; his great grandchildren, Brycen, Macyn, Lincoln, Max Vrstal, Jack Yoder, Kiah, Danny Guzman, Blake Ladow, Cooper, Anastasia, Evangeline Booth and Athena Burkehalter; and his siblings, Jack Vrstal and Kathy McKean (Dan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established in his memory.
