She is survived by: her parents, Roger Klontz and Lonnie Klontz (Rickard) of McConnell, IL; her husband Stephen Simpson (Tamara Simpson); her children, Claudia Simpson (Matt Klein) of Lena, IL and Henry Simpson (Abby Horning) of Roscoe, IL; her granddaughter Dalen Sue; her sisters, Susan Saavedra (Henry), Sandra Klontz and Viola Petroski (Aleks); her nieces, Tillie and Alexis; her nephew William; and her close friend Sara Engels.

A memorial has been established in her memory.
