It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal A. Weick in Lena, Illinois, who passed away on July 1, 2024, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Rakowska and Velma Rakowska; her husband Allen; her siblings, Doris, Duane, Darrell, Jerome and Gary; and her sisters-in-law, Marilyn and Beverly.

She is survived by: her daughter Jill Schwartz (Gregory) of Hampton, VA; her grandson Briton Schwartz (Kim) of Virginia Beach, VA; her great grandchildren, Parker, Emmerson and Sophia; her sister-in-law Colleen Rakowska; and her friends, Mary James and Judy Love. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
