He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver W. Holmes and Anna Holmes (Lobdell). He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his children, Jeffrey of Lena, Gregory of Lena and Christine Peterson (James) of Stoughton, WI.; and his grandchildren, William Holmes (Jennifer) of Nashville, TN, Vicki Fischer of Pearl City, Scott Holmes (Kim) of Lena, Angie, Kelly Holmes (Esther) of Tucson, AZ, Cody Holmes (Whitney) of Lena, IL, Nicholas Holmes (Susan) of Morrison, IL, Erica Peyer (Ben) of Stoughton, WI, Emily Deschane of Stoughton, WI and Tess Matson (Mark) of Stoughton, WI. He is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
