She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hines and Hilda Hines (Mackenbach). She is survived by: her husband Larry Pitts of Lena; her children, Lynette Jordan (Jeffrey) of Freeport and Leonard Pitts (Jennifer) of Pearl City; her grandchildren, Ashley McKinney (Mike), Dana Jordan, Madison Pitts and Cody Pitts; her great grandchild Everly McKinney; and her sisters, Nancy Schmidt (Mike) of Milledgeville and Cindy Nicholson (Bill) of Mt. Morris. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Linda was a member of the Eagles Club and Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
