It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lavone Gabel of Lena, Illinois, who passed away on October 22, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Haeft and Claribell Haeft (Roper); her husband Arthur Gabel; and her brother Lloyd Haeft. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Bryan Gabel (Katherine) of Menominee, WI, Marilyn Shick (Chuck) of Freeport, IL, Sandy Taylor (Michael) of Freeport, IL, Randy Gabel (Mary) of Montello, WI and Karen White (Jerry) of Little Rock, AR; her stepgrandchild Kim Kraabel (Travis) of Evansville, WI; her sister Lila Heath (Bud) of Stockton, IL; and her close friend Beulah Haeft.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her memory for the Lena United Methodist Church.
