He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle N. Zimmerman and Therese Zimmerman (Ciganek); and his grandparents, Merle C., Hazel Zimmerman, Michael and Mary Ciganek.
He is survived by: his siblings, Christopher Zimmerman, Sarah Wenger (Fritz) and Kurt Zimmerman; his nephews, Steven Zimmerman, Fritz and Ross Wenger (Ashley); his niece Stephanie Walter (Jacob); his great-nephew Jackson Walter; and his great-nieces, Ava and Payton Walter.
A memorial has been established in his name.
