We are sad to announce that on March 2, 2024, at the age of 81, Joseph Samuel Smeck of Lena, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Smeck and Dorothy Smeck (Klinger); and his wife Ruth Jurdzy. He is survived by: his children, Julie Carlucci (John) of Arlington Heights, IL and Joseph Smeck Jr. (Danielle Bonebright) of Lena, IL; his grandchildren, J. J., Michael, Nicholas, Mia, Madilyn and Grace; his girlfriend Linda Vick; and his partner's son Zachary Vick (Taylor Carter).

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his name.
