It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ilene Rees (Lena, Illinois), who passed away at the age of 93, on March 6, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Esther Wise (Noll) and Leon Wise; her son Dennis; her granddaughter Angella; and her sisters, Bernice Bucher, Eula Hayden and Carol Buck.

She is survived by: her daughter Susan (John Hofmann); her husband Donald; her sister Joann Magee; her grandsons, Aaron and Brent Rees; and her stepgranddaughter Rachel Hofmann. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Due to COVID restrictions, attendance will be limited at the church. Masking and social distancing requirements will be required.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Ilene's name.
