With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Wachter of Lena, Illinois, who passed away on August 17, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Glen Wachter and Josephine Wachter (Dittmar); his former wife Sharon Moore; his stepchildren, Joy Schwartz (Dan) and Karlene Heinkel (Dave); and his wife Shirley Shadle. He was also cherished by daughters and their families, two brothers and five sisters.
Masks are required, and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in his name.
