He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Bares of Lena; his children, Steve Lotz (Julie) of Lena, John Lotz of Bremerton, WA and Lizabeth "Betsy" Kopko (Michael) of Ottawa, IL; his grandchildren, Susan Amendt (Ryan), Melissa Smith (Jessie), Lilly Lotz of John, Kyle Burnett, Angela Cordero (Ian) and Amanda Burnett; his great grandchildren, Max, Molly Amendt, Owen Smith and Oliver Cordero; and his siblings, Arthur Lotz of Indianapolis, IN and Marilee Gilliland (Walter) of Fort Wayne, IN..
