It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Elliott of Lena, Illinois, born in Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on December 19, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Souders and Genevieve Souders (Lyons); her sons, Timothy Miller and Daniel Christiano; her brother Keith; and her daughter-in-law Michelle Miller.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Elliott of Lena; her children, Sandra Bennett (Rick) of Waterloo, SC, Deb Gitz (Wally) of Freeport, IL, Kelly Bohl (David) of Apache Junction, AZ, Ann Linker (Fred) of Shannon, IL and Chris Miller of Pocahontas, AR; her grandchildren, Eric, Sarah, Jennifer, Rachael, Shelli, Lyndsey, Lizzie, Brandon, Blake, Abbey, Spencer and Tessa; and her close friends, Barb Daul and Deb Heim. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established in her name for the Alzheimer's Association.
