He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Mayer and Verna Mayer (Runkle); his son Ryan; and his siblings, Robert, Allen Mayer, Dorothy Trappen and Mildred Price.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Fluegel of Lena; his daughter Rhonda Coyier (Don) of Madison, WI; his grandchildren, DeDe Heid (Todd) of Appleton, WI and Kelsey Pearson (Aaron) of Oconomowoc, WI; and his great grandchildren, Braelyn, Gianna, Otto Mayer, Theo and Viviana.
In lieu of flowers at Ben's request a memorial has been set up in Ben Mayer's name for the Le-Win Education Foundation through Lena State Bank.
