She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Medeke and Roberta Medeke (Gitz); her husband Gerald Coomber; and her siblings-in-law, Melvin and Doris Coomber.
She is survived by: her siblings, Sharon Thomas (Bob) of Lena, IL and Gene Medeke (Terry Henry) of Platteville; and her children, Brett Coomber (Sue) of McFarland, WI, Bridget Ann Stray (George) of Lakewood, IL, Stacy Beggin (Brendan) of Crystal Lake, IL, Renee Chenong of Freeport, IL and Matthew Coomber of Rock Falls, IL. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial has been established for Breast Cancer Awareness and St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Barb's memory.
