Alvin Sigafus Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Sigafus (Lena, Illinois), who passed away on April 8, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Sigafus and Nellie Sigafus (Metcalf); his wife Phyllis Coad; his siblings, Ruth Hess (Orville), Bob (Viola) and Roy Sigafus (Helena); and his sisters-in-law, Kay Sigafus and Loretta Sigafus.
He is survived by: his children, Lydia Hurst of Apple River, IL, David Sigafus of Kenosha, WI, Ann Schmid of Nashua, NH, Becca Sigafus of Muncie, IN, Ray Roberts and Denise Baker; his grandchildren, Rachel Fogg, Claire Kohlmann and Joel Schmid; his great grandchildren, Nathan, Jacob Fogg, Caroline and Andrew Kohlmann; and his brother Allen Sigafus. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
