He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Turner and Florence Turner (Hall); his brothers, Robert and James Turner; his grandson Leo Gerke; and his great grandchild Timothy Jordan.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia (Helsinger); his children, Deborah Jordan (John Blair) of Stockton, IL, David Turner (Lorraine) of Freeport, IL, Sherry Soehnlein (Jim) of Madison, WI, Peggy Korth (Dan) of Stockton, IL, Stuart Turner (Filomena) of Vacaville, CA and Michelle Christianson (Steve) of Pearl City, IL.; his sister Margaret Sass; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Welty (Phillip) and Sandy Turner. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in his memory.
