He was predeceased by: his wife Rosalie; and his siblings, Donald Pankow (Lois Mankowski), Robert Pankow (late Carol) and Diane Russell (Don). He is survived by: his partner Michealine "Mickey" Dorywalski; and his children, Gregory Pankow (Barbara), Marian Walles (James), Karen Morgenroth (Michael), Brian Pankow (Catherine), Susan Raymond (Jon) and Jeffrey Pankow (Marianne). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Markiewicz Funeral Home (108 E Illinois St, Lemont, IL 60439). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
