Rita M. Ludwig Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita M. Ludwig of Lemont, Illinois, who passed away on November 20, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband E. Marvin Ludwig; her parents, Nicholas Zolecki and Helen Zolecki; her siblings, Lenoard Zolecki (Lucile) and Raymond Zolecki (Rita); and her sisters-in-law, Fern Epler (Norman) and Donna Chmielewski (Gene).
She is survived by: her son Nowell; her daughters-in-law, Susan Ludwig and Wendie Ludwig; her grandchildren, Nicholas Ludwig, Jack Lindsay, Nathan Ludwig and Abigayle Ludwig; her nieces and nephews, Joan Witt (Joe), Barbara Bannon (Joe), Dan Zolecki (Bonnie), Larry Zolecki (Loell), Greg Zolecki (Linda) and Rhonda Staggs (Leon); and her son Bryan Thomas.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Markiewicz Funeral Home (108 E Illinois St, Lemont, IL 60439). A prayer will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Cyril & Methodius Church (608 Sobieski St, Lemont, IL 60439). A committal service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Bethany Lutheran Cemetery (1050 McCarthy Rd, Lemont, IL 60439).
