He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara; his children, David Brost (Carol), Lisa Kross (Kent) and Julia Brost; his grandchildren, David Jr. Brost (Kaleigh), Kristina Parks (Matt), Jessica Brost, Cameron Kross, Christine, Nicholas, Kevin John and Michael John; his nieces, Karen Voitik (Joe) and Jill Gillono; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Christensen (Jon) and Joseph Bratyanski.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cyril & Methodius Church (608 Sobieski St, Lemont, IL 60439). A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Resurrection Cemetery (7200 Archer Rd, Justice, IL 60458).
