He was predeceased by: his daughter Karen Mooney; and his sister Joan Dobbs. He is survived by: his wife Judith; his daughters, Judith Trisilla (Joe) and Kathy Fabbri; his granddaughters, Sydney and Gabryelle Fabbri; and his brother James "Jimmie" Mooney.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Markiewicz Funeral Home (108 E Illinois St, Lemont, IL 60439). A prayer will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Alphonsus Church (605 State St, Lemont, IL 60439).
