It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Shimkus of Lemont, Illinois, who passed away on April 2, 2021, at the age of 106, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Charles; her daughter Marie Shimkus; her granddaughter Laura Korpalski; her great grandchild Jacob; and her siblings, Stella, John and Clem.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Alan Korpalski Jr. and Renee Jaremowicz (David); and her great grandchildren, Andrew, Joshua, Deanna and Grace. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
