She was predeceased by: her parents, Omer Tuftee and Serena Tuftee (Egland); her husband Roger "Jim" Benson; her brothers, Dr. Alan Tuftee and Howard Tuftee; and her nephew Steve Merritt.
She is survived by: her children, Kara Temple (Brad) of Serena, IL. and Paul Benson (Juliet Gilmore) of Rockford, IL.; her grandsons, Bryan Temple (Carolann) of Leland, IL. and Ben Temple (Jenna McNelis) of Oglesby, IL.; and her sister Pearl Merritt of Normal, IL.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to St. Petrie Lutheran Church in Baker, IL.
