Hanson; her sons, Jeremy Niels, Luke Niels (Elizabeth), Shane Niels and David Niels; her grandchildren, Dorian, Johnny, Savana, Travis, Luke Jr., Abigail, John Paul, Michael, James, Anne Marie, Bennett and Monica; and her siblings, Peter, Eric Courtney and Christine McCormick. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Illinois Arbor Foundation or any women's shelter.
