He was predeceased by: his parents, John Blocker and Bonnie Blocker (Woodraska). He is survived by: his wife Suzanne M. Hughes of Leland; his children, Dereck Blocker of Sandwich, Samantha Blocker of Leland and Chase Blocker of St. Charles; his grandchildren, Quinn, Rauiri and Solara; his brothers, Rick Blocker of West Frankfort and Randy Blocker (Amy) of West Frankfort; his in-laws, Deb and Dave Whitlock; his brother-in-law Tony Hughes; his goddaughter Shaley Pelafas; and his friends, Wayne and Mary. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Turner-Eighner Funeral Home - Somonauk (13160 US-34, Somonauk, IL 60552). The military honors will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
